Chios Beaches

Chios has several nice beaches. In general Chios is fairly non-developed and doesn't receive a lot of tourism. The beaches in the North are smooth and flat and ideal for sunbathers  "Limia and Agh Markella" just opposite Chios Town are both non-touristic and Nagos and Giossonas in the NE of the islands have very nice unstructured beaches." ` beach to the south is the nearest to Chios Town and reachable by blue bus. The soft sand here is being gobbled up by hotels and other touristic enterprises.
